Through the work release program, we are welcoming a volunteer from the Grand Valley Institution for Women who will be helping us primarily with groundskeeping and gardening-related tasks once a week through the summer. This is part of that person's gradual re-incorporation back into the life of the wider community. One aspect of this is that we need at least one person at the church during her work hours, which is normally easily achievable by the handful of folks who are often on-site at the church. However, in the event of a pastoral emergency or some other event off-site, it would be helpful to have a list of individuals who could be called upon to step in, when needed.  If you are interested and/or would like more information, contact the church office at standrewskitchener@gmail.com.  It would be ideal to have a few people in place before Matt's July holidays.
